This is one knife we think is well worth the splurge, even after testing a ton of top options on the market. Shun has a great reputation as an industry-favorite brand,  but this knife in particular is a standout. It has a beautiful yet durable birchwood handle, with a wavy stainless steel blade. It’s so sharp and slim that it can cut thin slices with ease, which we love.
