When Le Creuset announces a new color is joining its already iconic lineup, I want to be first in line to check it out. The brand behind the enamel cast iron Dutch oven that is on everyone’s wish list is also well-known for its collection of rich and sophisticated colorways, and this latest launch fits right in.

Inspired by lush gardens and fresh herbs, the new color is appropriately called thyme. This rich green hue matches the earthy tones of fall, but also will also be right at home with vibrant colors of spring — basically, it will never go out of style.

Right now, 15 pieces of stunning Le Creuest cookware and tableware pieces are available in the new thyme colorway, including a cast iron skillet and the brand’s best selling Dutch oven — and some of them are even on sale. Below, check out some of our favorite products from the new launch, with prices starting at just $45.

Round Dutch Oven

Le Creuset Round Dutch Oven

Le Creuset

The Le Creuset Dutch oven is the brand's most famous, and most coveted, product — and there’s good reason for the obsession. The sophisticated design coupled with its versatility make it a must-have for every homecook. The round shape and high sides make it handy for simmering stews, deep-frying chicken, roasting a whole chicken, or braising short ribs. It’s made from enamel cast iron, which is known for its exceptional heat distribution and retention. Even more importantly, enamel cast iron looks beautiful but is actually incredibly tough: It resists all kinds of chipping, staining, and dulling, making it the last Dutch oven you’ll ever need to buy.

Signature Cassadou

The Le Creuset cassadou pot is more than $100 off right now, and it's as hardworking as it is beautiful. The design is inspired by the pots used by French fishermen to make stews, but you might think of it like a small Dutch oven with a handle. It will come handy this fall and winter for beef stew and other soups, but it can also be treated like a braiser, or an extra deep saute pan.

Le Creuset enamel cast iron cookware is among the most durable out there. It easily wipes clean, and is resistant to staining and chipping. If you treat these pieces well they will last for decades, making them well-worth the price tag.

Heritage Square Dish

Le Creuset Heritage Square Dish

Le Creuset

A square baking dish is a cookware essential — if you don’t have one you need one, and if you already have one, you need another one. This 3-quart baking dish serves as many as four people, plus its shape and depth can accommodate anything from brownies to au gratin potatoes. And it’s made from stoneware, which is one of the best materials for bakeware. It heats up uniformly and doesn’t create any hotspots, so no matter what you are baking, it comes out of the oven evenly cooked.

Mugs, Set of 4

Le Creuset

Refresh your stained coffee mugs with this elegant Le Creuset set. Featuring Le Creuset’s signature minimalist design, each one has a 14-ounce capacity. Perfect for everything from coffee in the morning to tea in the evening, the glazed stoneware interior is scratch-resistant, so you can use a metal spoon to stir your beverage without leaving a mark. Plus, any left behind stains can be washed away in the dishwasher.

Heritage Pie Dish

With the holidays coming up, chances are you’re going to be baking pecan, pumpkin, and apple pies. This Le Creuset pie dish is a beautiful way to showcase the desserts you worked hard to prepare. Because this dish is made from stoneware, which uniformly distributes heat, your pies will always be cooked evenly. Stoneware is also naturally nonstick, so you don’t have to struggle to slice and plate up your pie while everyone is waiting for dessert.

Signature Chef’s Oven

Le Creuset

Although they might look different, the Le Creuset Chef’s Oven is different from the Dutch oven in a few crucial ways. First of all, it’s wider, and has a flat bottom, with tall, sloped sides. The curved walls in particular are more efficient for stirring, so this 7-quart Chef’s Oven comes in handy for pasta sauce and soup. You’ll reach for it constantly in the colder months, when you might be craving stews. But it’s useful all year-round: Thanks to its generous depth, you’ll still be using it when spring rolls back around as a serving bowl for pasta and potato salad.

Heritage 3-Piece Rectangular Baking Dish Set

Le Creuset Heritage 3-Piece Rectangular Baking Dish Set

Le Creuset

This set of rectangular baking dishes comes in three versatile sizes: 4-quart, 2.5-quart, and 1.1-quart. The smallest size can make a shareable portion of bread pudding for two people, while the two larger sizes are ideal for casseroles, roasted vegetables, and other side dishes for family dinners on the weeknights. Stoneware is so durable that you can use these every night without worrying about chipping, scratching, or staining, and scalloped handles on each side make them easy to maneuver out of the oven and directly onto your dinner table.
